🪔 About Vat Savitri Vrat
It is an important celebration in Northern India. In the Mahabharat, the exiled prince Satyavan meets his death under a banyan tree, and his devoted wife, Savitri, follows him to the gates of Yamlok. Moved by her unwavering devotion, Yamraj, the God of Death, restores Satyavan to life. Today, devotees worship the sacred Banyan tree, seeking Mother Divine's blessings for a blessed, fulfilling marital relationship.
