🪔 About Utpanna/Utpatti Ekadashi

Today, we celebrate the birth of Devi Ekadashi.

The Devas once approached Lord Vishnu to protect them from Asura Murasur. After fighting him for centuries, when Lord Vishnu paused to rest in a cave, Murasur attempted to kill him in slumber. From Sri Vishnu's form arose Goddess Ekadashi, who destroyed Murasur and protected Lord Vishnu.
