🪔 About Skanda Shashti

The Shashti (sixth) lunar day is dedicated to Lord Skanda. On the Shukla Paksh Shashthi, devotees observe a fast. On this day, Lord Kartikeya, the son of Lord Shiv and Ma Parvati, killed the demon Surapadman with his divine weapon, the Vel.

Perform yagna to invoke the Primordial Divine Mother, Ma Durga's divine energy.
