🪔 About Shankaracharya Jayanti/Surdas Jayanti

It is the birth anniversary of Adi Shankaracharya, one of India's most significant saints. In the 8th century, he established the Advaita Vedanta, a non-dualist school of thought. A master of the Vedas, Adi Shankara, set up 4 Mathas (schools) across India as seats of Vedic learning. Most of all, he singlehandedly revived the dying Sanatan Dharm.
