🪔 About Shakambhari Purnima/Paush Purnima
Today marks the beginning of a one-month austerity period observed during the months of Paush-Magh. Taking a dip at the Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi or at the Triveni Sangam in Prayag is auspicious, as it liberates the soul from the continuous cycle of birth and death.
It is also Shakambari Purnima. Ma Shakambhari made her appearance on Earth to end a severe famine.
The time is perfect to invoke Ma with her all-powerful Navarn mantra.
