🪔 About Rakshabadhan
In the Mahabharat, while killing Shishupala with the Sudarshan Chakra, Sri Krishna cut his finger, and it began to bleed. Draupadi, the wife of the Pandavas, immediately tore off a piece of her saree and wrapped it around Sri Krishna's finger. Deeply touched, Sri Krishna promised to protect her whenever she needed it. Rakshabandhan observes the sublime bond between siblings. Brothers promise to protect their sisters, while sisters tie a rakhi (thread) around their brothers' wrists, praying for their brothers' long lives.
