Margashirsh, or Agrahayan, is a Hindu month with great religious and spiritual significance. It is November-December in the Gregorian calendar. This religious month, named after the Mrigashirsh Nakshatra, is dedicated to Sri Krishna.

Margashirsh Amavasya is a day of deep devotion and reverence. On this day, devotees pay their respects to their ancestors and also worship Sri Krishna.

  2. Clean your home and puja space thoroughly.
  3. Perform the recommended ritual with devotion.
  4. Offer flowers, fruits, and incense.
  5. Chant mantras or prayers specific to this occasion.
  6. Conclude with aarti and distribute prasad.
