🪔 About Mahashivratri

According to sacred scriptures, the ritual worship of Lord Shiv on Shivratri, which occurs on the 14th day of the dark fortnight in Phalgun, is said to please Mahadev the most. Lord Shiv revealed this to his consort, Ma Parvati.

On this auspicious day, Lord Shiv and Goddess Parvati were united in marriage. Devotees observe Mahashivratri by remembering Lord Shiv through prayers, fasting, and meditation They aim to cultivate self-love and virtues, such as honesty, non-violence, charity, forgiveness, and discovering the divine within.
