🪔 About Kaamika Ekadashi

Also known as Pavitra (pure) Ekadashi, a devotee who worships Lord Krishna with utmost dedication today breaks free from all bondage. In scriptures, fasting on this day is considered very auspicious. In the Mahabharat, Lord Krishna tells Yudhishthir that observing a Kaamika Ekadashi fast would be fruitful for him and his family.

  1. Wake up early and take a bath.
  2. Clean your home and puja space thoroughly.
  3. Perform the recommended ritual with devotion.
  4. Offer flowers, fruits, and incense.
  5. Chant mantras or prayers specific to this occasion.
  6. Conclude with aarti and distribute prasad.
