🪔 About Indira Ekadashi
Devrishi Narad once informed King Indrasena that his father was forced to reside in Yamalok because of his bad Karma. To help the worried king, Devarshi Narad advised him to worship Lord Vishnu on the day of Indira Ekadashi, which would free his father from all suffering. By offering devotion to Lord Vishnu on this day, not only did the king’s father attain liberation, but King Indrasena also got liberated. Thus, Indira Ekadashi is a very auspicious day to pray for the peace of one’s ancestors.
