🪔 About Govatsa Dwadashi
Celebrated one day before Dhanteras, cows and calves are worshipped and fed wheat husk on this day. Nandini is the Divine Cow in Sanatan Dharm; therefore, today is also known as Nandini Vrat. Ddvotees avoid consuming milk products and wheat.
On this auspicious day, worship the Divine Cowherd, the one who, with notes of his flute, pulled the cows and calves of Vrindavan into his fold. Call out to Lord Krishna; let his divine music take over your soul.
