🪔 About Durga Ashtami
On this day, Ma Durga is worshipped in her eight forms. In North India, a Kumari Puja is done for young girls up to 11, honouring the primordial energy within them. Sandhi Puja, a significant ritual of Navratri, is performed during the transition from the eighth to the ninth day. Chamunda Devi, an aspect of Ma Durga, appeared to vanquish the asuras Chand and Mund at this time.
The astras (weapons) of Ma Durga are also honoured today.
Experience the bliss from surrendering at Devi Ma's divine feet on this powerful day.
