🪔 About Chaitra Purnima Vrat
As per the Hindu calendar, this is the first Purnima of the year and an extremely auspicious day to pray to Sri Hari. Many people also observe a fast on this day. The Chitragupta temple of Kanchipuram (Tamil Nadu)—dedicated to Lord Chitragupta, the celestial accountant of Yamraj—is famous for its Chaitra Purnima celebrations. In other parts of the country, devotees take a dip in sacred rivers on this day to cleanse their sins.

- Wake up early and take a bath.
- Clean your home and puja space thoroughly.
- Perform the recommended ritual with devotion.
