🪔 About Bhai Dooj and Chitragupt Puja
On this day, Lord Krishna visited his sister Subhadra after slaying the demon Narkasura. She welcomed his victory with a tilak (vermilion mark on the forehead).
Lord Yama, the God of Death, also visited his sister Yami with a gift.
Bhai Dooj marks these occasions. Sisters pray for their brother’s well-being, while brothers offer them unconditional protection.
